Consultation and Merch Terms

These terms apply to consultation bookings and merch orders placed through the RegenRoots website. By placing a booking or order, you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to them.

1. Consultation service

RegenRoots offers one-on-one online consultations focused on practical farming topics such as chickens, pasture systems, housing, feed, management and related operational questions.

The consultation is guidance based on experience and information shared during the session. It is not veterinary, legal, financial, engineering or regulated professional advice.

2. Booking and payment

  • A booking request is only confirmed after successful payment through the payment provider used on the site.
  • Before payment is confirmed, the selected time remains provisional and may become unavailable.
  • After payment confirmation, RegenRoots will create the Google Calendar event and Google Meet link attached to the booking.
  • You are responsible for submitting accurate contact details, including an email address that can receive booking confirmations.

3. Customer responsibilities

  • Arrive on time and come prepared with specific questions so the session time is used effectively.
  • Provide accurate information about your setup, goals and constraints.
  • Use the consultation for lawful purposes only.
  • Do not record, redistribute or resell the consultation content without prior written permission from RegenRoots.

4. Rescheduling and cancellations

  • If you need to reschedule, send the request at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
  • Reschedule requests are subject to availability and are not complete until RegenRoots confirms the new slot in writing.
  • If you cancel more than 24 hours before the booked time, RegenRoots may offer either one reschedule or a refund at its discretion, less any non-recoverable payment processing fees.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the session, miss the session, or arrive so late that the remaining time is materially reduced, the booking may be treated as used and may be non-refundable.
  • If RegenRoots needs to cancel or cannot reasonably deliver the session, RegenRoots may offer a full refund or a rescheduled session.

5. Late arrival, connectivity and session limits

  • If you join late, the session may still end at the originally booked time.
  • You are responsible for your own internet connection, device access and ability to join Google Meet.
  • RegenRoots will make reasonable efforts to complete the session if a short technical interruption occurs, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

6. Advice disclaimer and limitation of liability

Consultations provide practical guidance based on the information available at the time. Farming outcomes depend on site conditions, climate, infrastructure, stock health, feed, labour, execution and other factors outside RegenRoots' control.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, RegenRoots is not liable for indirect, consequential or business-loss claims arising from reliance on consultation content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African law.

7. Privacy and communications

Personal information submitted through the booking and merch purchase processes is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Communications may include payment updates, order confirmations, calendar invitations, Google Meet links and follow-up contact required to deliver the service or fulfil the order.

8. Merch products, stock and fulfilment

  • Merch products shown on the site are offered subject to stock availability.
  • Product colours shown online are illustrative and may differ slightly from the final garment due to screens, lighting and supplier variation.
  • Sizes and colour selections submitted during checkout form part of the order you authorise for payment.
  • RegenRoots will make reasonable efforts to fulfil the paid order as selected, but may contact you if a chosen size or colour becomes unavailable.
  • If stock is unavailable after payment, RegenRoots may offer a reasonable substitute, delayed fulfilment, store credit or a refund, depending on the circumstances and your preference where possible.

9. Merch delivery, collection and returns

  • Courier orders are delivered free when the merch subtotal is above R1500. Courier orders below R1500 carry a flat R100 delivery fee.
  • Collection orders do not include a delivery fee.
  • Courier, delivery or collection arrangements will be handled after payment using the contact details you provide.
  • The estimated lead time for merch fulfilment is 7 to 14 days from confirmed payment, unless RegenRoots advises otherwise.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery information supplied is complete and accurate.
  • If an item arrives damaged, incorrect or materially defective, notify RegenRoots as soon as reasonably possible so that the issue can be assessed and addressed in line with applicable law.
  • Because shirts may be prepared or sourced to your selected size and colour combination, returns for preference changes may be limited unless required by law or expressly agreed by RegenRoots.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If a clause is unenforceable, the remainder of the terms will continue to apply.
